Achieve a flatter and more consistent tiled finish with Acorn Tiles reusable tile levelling wedges. Designed for use with our 1.5mm and 2mm levelling clips, the wedges apply controlled pressure to help align adjoining tiles and reduce lippage during installation.
The wedges can normally be collected and reused across multiple projects, provided they remain clean and undamaged. Choose a pack of 100 for smaller installations or a trade pack of 5,000 for regular professional use.

How to use tile levelling wedges

Apply the tile adhesive and position the first tile.

Insert a levelling clip beneath the edge of the tile.

Position the adjoining tile against the clip.

Push a wedge through the clip until both tile surfaces are aligned.

Avoid overtightening, as excessive pressure could move the tiles or damage the clip.

Allow the adhesive to cure fully.

Remove the clips by striking them along the direction of the grout joint.

Collect and clean the wedges for reuse.
Levelling clips are sold separately and are also available with wedges in our tile levelling kit.

What is the difference between 1.5mm and 2mm levelling clips?
The measurement determines the approximate grout-joint width created between the tiles. Choose the size that matches your preferred joint and installation requirements.
What tile thickness can I use?
The clips are suitable for tiles between 3mm and 15mm thick.

No. The clips are designed to break away after the adhesive has cured. The wedges can normally be collected and reused.
Do the clips replace tile spacers?
The clip base creates a consistent joint between adjoining tiles, so separate spacers are not normally required along those edges. Additional spacers may still be useful around corners, perimeters and complex layouts.
Can they be used on walls and floors?
Yes. They are suitable for compatible ceramic and porcelain tile installations on walls and floors.
Will the system correct an uneven surface?
The system helps align adjoining tiles, but it cannot correct an unsuitable, unstable or severely uneven substrate. Prepare and level the background before tiling.
